Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the LORD’s purpose that prevails: Proverbs 19:21

I think many of us have stumbled in our walk-of-faith due to not seeing our prayers be answered. But is it possible that we were praying for plans that were not designed for us to live?

God gave us special gifts, talents, families, backgrounds and paths for our feet to follow. What a waste of time it would be to pursue someone else’s plan, or even solely our own. God is the creator of our purpose and the conductor of our days.

There’s nothing wrong with making big plans for our future. It’s when we leave behind big-praying, that we lose sight of our purposeful direction. I’m not talking about ordinary prayers, or mundane rituals, I’m referring to transparent praying; in which we lay our uncertainties at his feet, unravelling every raw reality inside of us and seeking his plan for our lives!

An integral part of maturing in our faith is trusting the purpose behind the heartbreaks. Every element of weakness is contributing to greater purposes within his plan. Without a doubt it’s difficult to see the light in hardships, but our future will be the testimony to God’s intended objective.

Pursuing God’s heart earnestly will reap a life of gifts and answers. Whether we’re lacking direction or full of ambition, He desires for us to:

Askfor his plan

Believe-Wholeheartedly in his timing

Receive– His gifts fully
